What is included in this workshop manual:
The manual opens with general information and vehicle identification, then covers both engines in full, from engine mechanical, lubrication and cooling to engine control, fuel, exhaust and starting. The transmission and driveline chapters take in the automatic transmissions, driveline and both axles, followed by suspension, wheels and tires, brakes with ABS, TCS and VDC, and steering. The body and electrical chapters run from airbags, heating and air conditioning, seats, doors, locks and security to lighting, wipers, body control, the CAN network, charging, meters, the sonar system and audio and navigation, with body repair and maintenance at the end. Will it suit my 2017, 2018, 2019 or 2021 NV?
Yes. It is the 2020 edition, and from 2017 to 2021 the NV kept the same engines and gearboxes: the VQ40DE 4.0 V6 with the 5 speed automatic and the VK56VD 5.6 V8 with the 7 speed automatic. For a 2012 to 2016 van use our NV F80 2012-2016 manual, as the V8 and its gearbox were different.

Is the 5.6 V8 covered as well as the V6?
Yes. The VK56VD 5.6 V8 has its own engine mechanical and engine control sections next to the VQ40DE 4.0 V6, and the wiring book has separate engine harness layouts for each engine.

Will it help me diagnose a check engine light?
Yes. The engine control section gives trouble diagnosis for each DTC, with the ECM connector checks and CONSULT procedures, and the other control systems (ABS and VDC, airbags, body control, CAN network) have their own DTC sections.

Does it have the wiring diagrams for the cargo van upfit?
The wiring book covers the factory harnesses, including separate body harness and room lamp harness layouts for the cargo van and the passenger van, the fuse and relay boxes and the IPDM E/R. Aftermarket upfit wiring is not part of the Nissan manual.
