How often should the transmission fluid be changed?

The Maintenance Schedule gives it directly. Under the normal schedule it calls for the transmission fluid to be replaced at 45,000 miles or 72,000 km, or three years, and every 30,000 miles after that. The severe schedule brings it to every 30,000 miles or 48,000 km, or two years. The procedure itself is referenced at page 14-200.
