The AR6 is the Sevel Type 280, badge engineered from the first generation Fiat Ducato and mechanically identical to the Peugeot J5 and Citroen C25 sold alongside it. The factory documentation for that range is what dealers worked from, and it is what you get here: 14 separate volumes, 725 pages in total, in English.

Models: Alfa Romeo AR6 van, passenger van and chassis cab, Type 280, in the 10AR6, 13AR6 and 14AR6 payload designations.

Engines: Diesel U25/651, U25/661, U25/673 and XUD9A. The U25/651 is the 2500cc four cylinder unit rated at 75 ch DIN at 4100 rpm, mounted transversely and inclined 23 degrees, fed by a Roto-Diesel UT 100 injection pump through pintle type injectors. Petrol XM7T, XN1T and XN1TA are also documented as part of the wider Type 280 range, although petrol was not offered in the AR6.

Transmissions: Four speed and five speed manual transaxle.
